InezGill Inspiration Shoot

happy monday my readers! today i’m sharing the breathtaking photos from a shoot that i styled with my brilliant friend candace of lovestru.ck social events for InezGill bows & accessories.  the gorgeous bows that you see in these photos are hand-knitted by the very talented courtney zurcher, and finished with the highest quality of materials. the bows are available in 26 different colors and each bow is beautifully packaged with eco-friendly materials. in these photos you can see how the bows can transform a bride’s hair, dress, and shoes; a cake and table setting; or even a groom’s attire. the possibilities are endless with an InezGill bow, but these handcrafted beauties definitely add a special element to the styling of a wedding, no matter how you choose to use them.

i had worked with candace before on this wedding inspiration shoot for ready or knot, and so when she asked me to help with the styling of the InezGill shoot i was so excited. candace is beyond creative, and she also has such a strong work ethic, which i admire. we work really well together, since both of us will go to pretty much any length for the sake of a photo (even if it means suffering a severe allergic reaction from being in a field of grass all day!).  i knew it was going to be a beautiful shoot, but meeting courtney of InezGill and megan of megan christine photography far exceeded all of my expectations. courtney’s work is truly exquisite, and the care she puts into each accessory is above and beyond. visit her website and follow along as she continues to expand her brand. courtney is a true artist and i look forward to working with her again. and what can i even say about megan’s photos? aren’t they just the sweetest, dreamiest photos you’ve ever seen? she uses film to achieve the whimsical quality, which was the perfect way to capture this romantic shoot. megan’s work is one of a kind– i’ve never seen anything quite like it!  the stunning gowns worn here are from my two favorite bridal boutiques: ready or knot and rhylan lang, and hair and make up is by kaitlyn of lashes and love. kaitlyn created beautiful looks for our five models and kept them all looking their best despite the windy conditions on the day of the shoot (not an easy task!). everyone who was a part of this shoot, including or gorgeous models, made it as magical as ever.

hi readers! i just wanted to share a little glimpse of my life via instagram. if you already follow me on instagram (@natalieallison), then you’ve seen some of these images of the things i’m currently loving or being inspired by, including recent purchases, what i’m eating, and sweet pictures of my pup sophie. follow along and i’ll follow you too! i prefer instagram to pinterest (for now, anyway).

1. love bracelet from forever 21— a good reminder for me to wear around my wrist.
2. mint nails and leather jewelry– wrap bracelet from piper and leather flower ring, a gift from my friend lindsey.
3. my darling friend liz and i loving bright lipstick.
4. grey nails with a hint of glitter (one nail with glitter polish is so much easier to remove than all) and leather bow ring from piper.
5. zara leopard print moccasins and the little girl who wants to use them as her chew toy.
6. stylemint tee and bungee bracelets from angel court via tulip louise‘s giveaway (do you follow anna? she is hands down one of my favorite stylists and bloggers– major style inspiration and such a doll!)
7. drinking wine with my roomie abi, who is also my first friend in the world (we’ve been friends since we were 3!) the way our mothers taught us– liberal poors with an ice-cube (sometimes you just can’t wait for white wine to chill).
8. two of my favorite polishes– sephora by OPI already famous (a pewter/silver/champagne combo) with some serious glitter from american apparel (borrowed from abi).
9. macarons for my friend kristen’s oscars party, from jones bros. cupcakes.  thank you, kristen, for such a fabulous time!
10. massive gem double ring from all about me boutique, one of the participants in SOHA, the fashion show for charity that i am styling on march 31!
11. ootd: still my favorite lucca couture sweater from statement, maxi skirt from urban outfitters, my trusty rebecca minkoff MAB, and MAC russian red.
12. arm party: michael kors watch, gifted bracelets, including chain bracelet from piper.
13. oatmeal and ice cream while brunching with my friend kelly at dixie quicks— so unbelievably good.
14. sophie likes to be held like a baby, which i always encourage.
15. cadbury eggs are a staple in my house throughout march and april– a sign that spring is on its way!
